This is a view toward Canmore Alberta from Route 742, high up in Kananaskis Country. Located just a few miles east of Banff National Park along the Trans Canadian Highway, Canmore is the gateway to Kananaskis Country, which includes a series of Provincial Parks. These parks, while much less crowded than Banff NP, have spectacular scenery not to be missed in a trip to the area.
