Artist's Description
The Prince of Wales hotel is one of Canada's grand railway hotels. Located in Waterton Lakes National Park overlooking the Upper Waterton Lakes, it is the only Canadian grand railway hotel built by a company based outside of Canada. It is seven stories tall and is a Canadian National Historic Site. Established as a Canadian national park in 1895, Waterton National Park adjoins Glacier National Park in Montana. Together, they formed the world's first International Peace Park in 1932.
