The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. Located in the Civic Center area, the Denver Art Museum (DAM) is clad in titanium and glass. Completed in 2006, the architectural design of the Hamilton Building (pictured) was the result of a joint venture by Studio Daniel Libeskind and the Davis Partnership. Italian architect, Gio Ponti, designed the north building, which opened in 1971.

Thank you for paying a visit to my website. While photography has been an interest of mine since I was taught the basics by a couple Navy shipmates over 40 years ago, that interest always seemed to take a back seat to my career in the practice of architecture. Now I am finding more time to travel and to enjoy photography. I have visited all 50 states and have travelled to Canada, Mexico and western Europe. I stayed active in the Naval Reserve, which presented many opportunities for travel.
