Located just a few miles east of Banff National Park along the Trans Canadian Highway, Canmore is the gateway to Kananaskis Country, which includes a series of Provincial Parks. These parks, while much less crowded than Banff NP, have spectacular scenery not to be missed in a trip to the area.
Thank you for paying a visit to my website. While photography has been an interest of mine since I was taught the basics by a couple Navy shipmates over 40 years ago, that interest always seemed to take a back seat to my career in the practice of architecture. Now I am finding more time to travel and to enjoy photography. I have visited all 50 states and have travelled to Canada, Mexico and western Europe. I stayed active in the Naval Reserve, which presented many opportunities for travel.
