In the Beginning Wall Art

Capturing photographic images of God's amazing creation for the enjoyment of all. The vision for the "In the Beginning" Collection was sparked when Anne Heathman saw the Collection logo photo hanging at a gallery in Littleton, CO. Anne was a victim of an apartment building fire in Littleton. 167 residents lost their homes and Anne's apartment was a 100% loss. Anne was looking for art to hang in her new apartment and fell in love with "The Milky Way Over Echo Lake" image. She called me and asked about the maximum size to which the image could be enlarged and how well it would fit the space she had in mind. A retired architect, I volunteered to help her decide on a size, organize her wall space, and select additional pictures to complete the decor of her apartment. Very important to Anne as she set out to decorate her new apartment was that it would communicate her love for God through beautiful images of His creation. Images from my portfolio suggested to Anne various Bible verses or inspirational text, which she then asked me to inscribe on those images chosen for this collection. As I worked with Anne, she shared her gripping rescue story; how she was caught by one of God's Angels as she jumped from her patio railing, as far as she could, to escape the flames. Anne has an old injury that would prevent such a feat, but God was with her and she was caught in midair and gently lowered to the ground. When she turned to thank her rescuer no one was there and she was unharmed. She knows that God's Angel caught her. She also shared with me many stories about the support the local affiliate of LoveINC has provided to the victims of the fire. God spoke to my heart as I worked on the pictures that captured God's handy work and added Inspirational scripture and inspirational quotes to the pictures. I felt called to create this new Collection of Art on my website. I have entitled it "In the Beginning" and it features photos of God's creation and His Words inscribed on each picture. 25% of my profit from the "In the Beginning Collection" will go to LoveINC of Littleton to support their mission of loving and giving a hand up to God's children who need help.
